Hi there! I am Crystal, the founder and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Pathways Mental Health Services. This practice was created to fulfill the dream I have to bring accessible mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in the rural areas of East Tennessee. I work with patients ages 8 to 40.
My approach is individualized, evidence informed, functional, and integrative. We will discuss psychosocial relationships, spirituality, sleep habits, diet, supplements, psychotherapy, medications and much more. I believe in identifying and addressing underlying causes of symptoms. You will be educated and provide informed consent prior to medications being prescribed. You will be given options. You will be heard. You have value and you matter.

Education and Certifications
Crystal obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She is licensed as both a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse with prescriptive authority in the state of Tennessee. Her board certification is through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She routinely completes continuing education in psychotherapy and integrative psychiatry as she believes these are valuable components to healing.
Experience
Crystal has vast experience working with patients of all ages with various diagnoses. She has worked in adolescent residential, community mental health, crisis stabilization, geriatric psychiatry, and outpatient settings working with the child, adolescent and adult populations. This has equipped her with the skills to work with an array of mental health struggles.
