Mission Statement

At She Rises Psychiatry, my mission is to provide a welcoming and culturally aware space where women feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing. I serve women ages 18 to 50 with an approach that honors each woman’s story—recognizing the unique experiences, identities, and strengths that shape who she is. I am committed to listening deeply, practicing with humility, and creating a therapeutic environment where every woman feels she truly belongs.

Grounded in holistic care, I partner with women to address the mind, body, and spirit. Through thoughtful medication management, supportive psychotherapy, faith-integrated care when desired, and practical guidance for daily life, I work collaboratively to help women restore what has been wounded, rise from what has held them back, and renew their capacity for joy, peace, and purpose.

She Rises Psychiatry exists so that healing is not rushed, stories are honored, and every woman has the space to grow into who she is called to be.

Here, every woman is welcomed. Here, she can Restore. Rise. Renew.

Vision Statement

My vision is for every woman to know she is worthy of healing and held in God’s love. She Rises Psychiatry is a space to restore what has been wounded, rise with renewed strength, and rediscover purpose and peace. When a woman is supported in her healing—mind, body, and spirit—her transformation ripples outward to her family, her community, and the generations that follow. Here, healing is sacred, supported, and never walked alone.

Core Values

1. Guided by Faith
I commit to seeking God’s wisdom in my clinical decision-making. I trust that true healing honors both the physical and the spiritual, and I approach every treatment plan with prayerful discernment, humility, and care.

2. Evidence-Based Care
I provide treatment that is grounded in current research and best practices. I integrate scientific understanding with compassionate clinical judgment to ensure care is both effective and individualized.

3. Time to Be Heard
I believe healing cannot be rushed. Longer appointment times allow space for real conversation, deeper understanding, and collaborative planning—because your story deserves time.

4. Holistic Approach
I treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Care may include supportive psychotherapy, faith-based guidance (for those who choose it), lifestyle support, and thoughtful medication management.

5. Inclusivity & Belonging
Every woman is welcomed with dignity and respect. I recognize the diverse identities, cultures, and backgrounds that shape each person’s experience and commitment to care.

6. Cultural Humility
I approach every therapeutic relationship with openness and a willingness to learn. I acknowledge that each person is the expert on her own lived experience, and I strive continually to better understand and honor those perspectives.

7. Thoughtful Diagnosis and Medication Management: I take the time to accurately assess and diagnose, minimizing unnecessary medications while using them thoughtfully when appropriate.
